Man smiling at camera

As senior digital content analyst for MSPC, Adam Greenwald specializes in creating strategic report dashboards, keyword research, social media strategy measurement and digital marketing optimization.

When he’s not getting his digital marketing nerd on, you can catch Adam riding bicycles with friends to all the breweries around Northeast Minneapolis, playing guitar and checking out the fantastic art scene the Twin Cities has to offer.

In today’s edition of 5 Questions we get to learn more about Adam:

Tell us about your role in one sentence.

I translate data into stories, insights and recommended actions to take to improve our clients’ return on their content marketing investment.

Describe your perfect day

I thrive on variety. I start my day by reading the Fortune Data Sheet email newsletter to stay on top of what’s happening in the digital world. Next up are internal team and client status meetings to keep the ball rolling on all our content marketing projects and deliverables.

I have a few ongoing analytics reports that I check in with regularly to make sure our Google Data Studio dashboards are updated and working as they should. I like a good mix of heads-down, individual work, as well as collaborating in meetings with our teams and clients. A brisk walk to Target in the skyway over lunch really helps break up the day.

After the workday, I get my strength training on at the Movement Minneapolis Gym in Uptown in Minneapolis for a circuit-style workout with kettlebells.

What has been your favorite MSPC project and why?

We never promise organic search rankings for our content, but I love to see it when the strategic content MSPC creates for our clients shows up on the front page of Google for high-volume search terms and drives high organic search traffic and conversions.

I’ve had a handful of keyword research and SEO successes with Miracle-Ear since I joined the team in 2017, and it’s super rewarding to see the ROI payoff.

How did you end up here?

After receiving my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008, I moved to St. Paul to pursue a lifelong interest in music and media production at McNally Smith College of Music (RIP). While attending McNally, I interned at the Hideaway Studio in Northeast Minneapolis, where I worked with the likes of Brother Ali, Atmosphere, Dessa, Doomtree and Snoop Dogg.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Music Production and Hip-Hop Studies minor in 2012 and worked for WCCO CBS Radio as a web content administrator and event photographer for four and a half years before joining the digital strategy team at MSPC in 2017.

Favorite quote/saying…something of that nature.

“The best way to predict the future is to make it happen.” — Ahmet Ertegün, co-founder and former president of Atlantic Records
