In today’s edition of 5 Questions we get to learn more about Tony:

Describe your perfect day.

At work? A new business client presentation, a successful dashboard review covering content metrics and insights, and “talking shop” with coworkers about sparkling water flavors. At home? Sleep in, coffee and bacon, mow the lawn, take my family hiking somewhere with waterfalls, and a steak and an Old-Fashioned for dinner. Then I’m in bed by 10 p.m.

Who/what inspires you and your work?

My family inspires me more than anything. I’d love to have my wife and kids one day think, “Dad is kind of a bad ass.” I don’t think I am there yet. Something else that truly inspires me is honoring all of the past mentors, coaches, leaders and role models who I’ve had in my life.

What is most rewarding about your job; what makes it all worthwhile?

Helping people. It’s the best. Whether it’s helping a fellow employee with a small question or it’s helping a client build out foundational content and establishing credibility. It makes my dopamine go BOOM.

Favorite quote/saying… something of that nature.

“You can’t handle the truth” from A Few Good Men. I can recite the whole exchange between Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson’s characters verbatim due to a video project I did at the University of Minnesota.

What’s a cause that you are passionate about and why?

My grandma had Alzheimer’s disease, so I am passionate about finding a cure. I’ve participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Twin Cities and volunteered at assisted living facilities with seniors with memory loss.
