Nathaniel “Nat” Opperman, president of MSP Communications, previously served as chief operating officer, a role in which he worked behind the scenes to help produce the company’s annual operating plan and forecasting efforts. But he’s no stranger to content creation—he played a lead role in developing the Super Lawyers franchise into a national brand. His affinity for content is deeply rooted, and he understands and embraces the evolving ways it is delivered.
In today’s digital age, he believes in content as a product, and that delivering content when and where audiences want it creates real opportunities for growth. Nat’s vision for MSP Communications stems from a combination of organic growth coupled with smart, complementary strategic acquisitions that can expand our capabilities and result in new opportunities.
Nat earned his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has equity market, corporate finance and private market valuation experience from tenures at A.G. Edwards, Wells Fargo & Company and Medtronic. In addition to his role at MSP Communications, he is an executive officer of Key Venture Partners, a family-owned venture capital firm.
